JSON Files: Why Open When You Can Prompt?

What's easier - manually opening and editing a JSON file, or just taking a screenshot and asking the AI to fix it?

I've become unbearably lazy. And I mean that in the best way.

If I know what the change should be, I used to open the file myself. Now I just screenshot it, mention what needs fixing, and ask the AI to handle it. The cognitive load is so much lower.

I know what I need to do. I don't need to:

• Remember where the file is
• Navigate the folder structure
• Think about syntax
• Validate formatting
• Watch for typos

The AI handles all of that. I give it a screenshot and a directive. Done.

Here's the challenge for you: Try something this week. For the next 14 days, only edit files through prompts. Even the dumb, trivial stuff you could fix in 10 seconds - screenshot and prompt instead. The only exception is if you've given up completely and nothing works, then you can fix it manually. But start with prompting.

This is the first step toward the other side. Where you stop thinking about how to do something and just describe what needs to happen.

Once you get there, you can't go back.
