Voice assistants answer but do nothing. Note apps save but forget. And everything that actually works is built on layers you do not own: someone else's cloud, someone else's model, someone else's key in your browser. We chose the opposite path.

The key never leaves the server
The browser only ever sees audio and text. The access token is minted short-lived on the server — and can be locked behind Face ID or fingerprint.

One self-contained program. The whole service — PWA, relay and storage — is a single Go server we built and own. No third-party runtime to trust, no vendor to wait on.
No database, just folders. Each conversation lives as plain files on disk, partitioned per org and owner. You can see it, move it, back it up — no black box.
The key stays home. The model token is minted on the server and never reaches the browser; identity can be gated behind your own OIDC, and the device unlocks with a passkey. Control is yours, not a provider's.
Runs where you want, speaks only simply. The seam between browser and server is deliberately plain — raw audio up, raw audio down, a few messages. That means self-hosting, your own tunnel, a future local model: same protocol, your call.
